Mount Symon litter collection March 2006
The RA organised another very successful litter collection on the 4th of March, the turnout was excellent with a total of 20 residents lending a hand. Of late, litter in the estate had built up quite substantially, this was especially apparent on green areas and on the distributor road leading into Mount Symon estate. Approximately 20 bags of litter and numereous other items (including a rusty old bike!) were collected from areas in and around the estate, huge thanks go out to all residents who came out on the day to participate, your efforts in making the area a cleaner place to live were immediately apparent. Unfortunately, this is a problem thats not going to go away, with the continued support of residents, we plan to make this a quarterly event. Thanks again to all who turned out on the day.

Mount Symon litter collection September 2005
Committee members from the Mount Symon Residents Association organised a litter collection on Saturday the 24th of September last, Fingal Co. Co. supplied plastic bags and gloves to aid with the task. Over the course of an hour, we managed to collect 10 bags worth of litter from all around the estate. We hope to arrange similar collections in the future with a view to inviting all residents to lend a hand. Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day, the estate certainly looks a lot cleaner as a result!
